We have experienced the best things since we got here when it comes to opportunities, and what more than to share our knowledge in a wider range.
We were honored to be chosen as resource speakers of the English Club of SMAN 2 Madiun for two days.
On the 1st day we were tasked to speak on language related and of course english. My topic was THE BRITISH ACCENT, while Krichelle's was NEWS WRITING.
I taught the members how to speak in British and also showing some comparisons of the American and British accent through imitating technique.
On the 2nd day we asked Eldimar if he wanted to join us in the lecture since he is also teaching the same school and he agreed. For the 2nd day we had a cultural exchange, we lectured on the Philippines and the different National symbols and dances etc. While the students performed a dance of Madiun. After all of our talks we were given snacks and on the first day our students drove us to our dorm in their motorcycles. (FUN FACT: Most people especially students use motorcycles as a way of transportation.)
